Our test riders and WorldTour athletes requested some changes to our standard Spring Fall Leg Warmers. This is the result. The OSMOS Medium material is the same used in our premium winter jackets and tights, and it provides better temperature regulation and durability than the RX Light material in our standard Spring Fall warmers. The RS warmers also include ankle zips so they're easier to strip in the saddle, and increased grip ensures they stay in place when you need them. Thermal insulation, moisture management, pedal-friendly stretch, active temperature regulation—OSMOS Medium checks all the boxes that make for good warmers. A single-seam, body-mapping pattern hugs your muscles in warm comfort rather than stretching across your skin, providing a buttery compressive feel and wrinkle-free fit at the knees.

Extreme, insulated protection for extreme weather, the Ultraz Glove is the ultimate platform for weatherproof cycling when time off the bike isn't an option. When the conditions are extreme in high summer or deepest, coldest winter, cycling equipment is either equally extreme or it's useless. Compared to the standard Winter gloves, the Ultraz model adds a neoprene cuff and an insulating lining to a more robust softshell material, boosting heat retention behind the breathable, weatherproof exterior. Winter cycling can be a peaceful, meditative experience, but only if you're properly equipped. Airblock is a more robust softshell than that used in our standard winter glove, increasing insulation while maintaining breathability and wind- and waterproof protection. The RS Winter Mid Layer simplifies four-season cycling by adding versatility to your wardrobe and eliminating the need for different dedicated jackets for the shoulder seasons and winter. Over a base layer and under a spring/fall shell, it upgrades light weather protection to a full winter jacket, trapping warmth while jettisoning internal moisture. On days when the temperatures drop, pull up the integrated face cover and hood; when the temperature or the road climb during your ride, the Thermobooster peels off to stow until clouds roll in or on long, chilling descents. This layer's OSMOS Heavy material is our warmest insulator, the same as featured in our S9 winter jackets and tights. With six years of technology developments and Assos’ most advanced race insert to date, the Equipe RS Bib Shorts S9 forges new ground, bringing unmatched stability and comfort to your most demanding speed-focused applications. These bibs employ A-Lock Engineering, Assos' new bracing system, comprising proprietary textiles and technologies working together to stabilize the shorts and secure the insert in place. The S9 generation incorporates just two panels, with a primary “butterfly” panel fully wrapping the legs and converging in the rear to form the ergoBox structure. This design effectively frames the insert in place and provides you with an ultra-comfortable wrap on your legs using our Type 441 textile, developed specifically for compressive hold and silky comfort. From here they added their unique rollBar, which mimics a race car’s anti-sway bar by using the bib straps to stabilize the insert as your weight transfers from left to right while cornering. Each strap is sewn into the seam directly above the insert, ensuring it’s under pre-loaded tension at all times. The bib straps have also been redesigned using calibrated stretch throughout, with the rear section using a single section of elastic material—folded over on itself—forming an A-frame in the back. It delivers limited vertical stretch in order to add further stability. In the front, the straps are made of a more flexible material, with an antibacterial carbon weave, to wick moisture and lay flat. Assos also focused on a single insert platform, which allowed the freedom to reassess what is most crucial to a streamlined, race-spec insert. They reduced the overall footprint to shed additional weight, employed superAir microShock foam with 3D waffle, incorporated the kraterCooler system to increase airflow up front, and took additional measures to anchor the insert at the rear with a patented horizontal stabilizer. The result? Signature Assos comfort, stabilized.
